Design
Jovial's first drawing is hard to pin down, as Spookaly had drawn a few foxes which all could be argued to be Jovial or not. Here, I'm going by the first image in storage (The drawing was based off a minecraft skin, though I can't find the original Minecraft skin file). The first image is a pixel art image drawn June 5 2021. This image established Jovial initial design.
Jovial's design was very simple, and during this time, was not the design Spookaly used to represent himself until around June 2021 when he switched from Advenir (old self-insert OC) to Jovial.
Jovial started as a character for Minecraft SMPs, first being the Tribune server by Bleached October and then soon the Integra SMP.
An interesting note is that for one image on July 26, 2021, Jovial got his red side pattern, which would not reappear in his design until September.
As stated above, it wasn't until September 18, 2021, that Jovial got his red spike fur pattern (alongside a red triangle on his forehead). It would also be around this time, when Jovial's full ear would be brown, unlike the other versions in which only half the ear would be brown. The design would generally stay the same for the next year, only hair being added the red spike slowly being changed into just a hair strand and the one red line on the cheeks becoming two. Both changes happening in mid-2022.
Around 2023, Spookaly switched from Jovial to Ouka as his main fursona. Due to this Jovial has since recently gotten little art. Since then Jovial's design has stayed rather consistent, the changes being Jovial getting a more defined jawline, broader shoulder, and getting taller. Alongside that, becoming Ouka's boyfriend.
