Ouka's first drawing is a random doodle Spookaly made October 27 2022. The character was not meant to be anything at the time. Later on October 29, Ouka gained his pink pallette.
Ouka would be drawn a few more times, becoming Spookaly's fursona, replacing Jovial.
During a road trip in November, Spookaly made changes that made a few more changes, most notably the mint insides (ears, tongue, etc). Alongside this change, December 2023 was the first time Spookaly considered Ouka and Jovial having a relationship.
The design would change a lot over the next few years. Notable points would be March 2023, when the eyes would start to usually have white sclera, rather than the usual dark sclera on either both or his left eye. Another would be in September of 2023 when he would be changed from a cat-fox to a fox-bobcat. This added the tufts to his ears along with longer cheek fluff.
